Poetry

I Am (draft)

I am invisible,

but you are so solid

even your thoughts are

impenetrable.

I am endangered,

yet your species has

flourished to the point

where resources are scarce.

My home is shrinking,

but yours now takes over

every continent, even encroaching

on mine.

We are dying,

and so are you, but you hide

that fact from each other,

pretending it isn’t real.
