The lighthouse lamp dies.
Fog creeps into each synapse,
hiding the true path.
Evening settles in,
shadows skitter from their trees.
Wings ruffle in wait.
The sound resonates,
the chemical chamber full.
Angry blood sweetens.
The first wall is set.
Its kin wobbles in the breeze –
Shadows shroud the skill.
A heart beat encased,
protective snow-globe bubble.
Creative lock-down.
Lichen covered tree,
blossom thawing into flakes.
Spring’s joyous veil.
Dance with the water,
draw its salt up to your heart:
calm, well-balanced mind.
The nitty-gritty,
words flow like mania blood
gained turning the page.
Together from dawn,
deep diving into the world:
symbiotic minds.
Salt seasons their words,
The dusting mistaken once
for sugar, no more.
